Owner-operated 1OO% Appliances stores have come out on top in the latest
Fair Go Colmar Brunton Best in Service Poll for New Zealand home appliance retailers.

The Colmar Brunton poll asked 2,000 Kiwis if they had a particularly good experience
at a home appliance store in the past year, or a particularly negative one.

The locally run 1OO% Appliances stores outshone its corporate competitors with
70 per cent of customers reporting a positive customer experience and only five
 per cent citing negative experiences.

The net score of 65 per cent for 1OO% Appliances distinguishes it from key rivals scores of 40% for Harvey Norman, 31% for Bond & Bond and 19% for Noel Leeming.

1OO% Appliances Chairman, Peter Drummond, puts its success down to the independent and locally focused owner/operators.

All 1OO% Appliances stores are locally owned and operated by Kiwis with a vested interest in giving customers a positive experience. They are part of the local community and earn repeat business through relationships and great customer service, says Drummond.

Our customers dont like to be pressured but they dont like being ignored either. What we try to do is give them as much information on the products and what would suit their needs. According to the poll, this is precisely the attitude that shoppers appear to love.

With approximately 60 stores around the country, 1OO% Appliances is New Zealands largest chain of independent appliance stores, giving Kiwis the opportunity to support a local business that is actively involved in the community.
